Antihistamines for systemic use. Ketotifen.
Therapeutic indications
Prophylactic treatment of asthma, especially atopic.
Symptomatic treatment of allergic conditions, including allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ketotifen or to other components of the drug.
Avoid simultaneous use of ketotifen and oral antidiabetic agents (risk of thrombocytopenia reverse) as long as this phenomenon is not studied enough.
