General properties
Antimicrobial veterinary drugs for intestinal infections.
Treatment of calves aged up to 3 months, pigs and poultry (chickens, turkeys) for digestive tract diseases (colibacillosis and salmonellosis) caused by colistin-sensitive microorganisms.
Hypersensitivity to colistin.
Do not administer to animals with impaired renal function.
Do not administer to ruminants with functionally developed antechambers.
Do not administer to horses. Do not administer the drug simultaneously with ampicillin, cephalosporins, aminoglycosides, antacids, kaolin, drugs containing unsaturated fatty acids, ammonium compounds and cations Mg2+, Ca2+, Ba2+ as the latter inhibit the action of colistin.
Do not administer if colistin-resistant strains of the pathogen are detected.
Do not administer for prophylaxis.
Pharmaceutical characteristics
Hygroscopic powder from white to light yellow color.
Keep away from children. Store in dark place under the temperature from 0 ºС to 30 ºС.
Once the container is used for the first time, use the drug during 4 months.
Do not freeze.
