Pharmacotherapeutic group
Antiemetic means and preparations, eliminating nausea. The antagonists of serotonin receptors (5НТЗ). Ondansetron.
Therapeutic indications
- Nausea and vomiting caused by cytotoxic chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
- Prevention and treatment of postoperative nausea and vomiting.
Contraindications
Increased sensitivity to the drug and other selective 5HT3 receptor antagonists, serotonin. Severe liver dysfunction. Use of the drug with apomorphine. Pregnancy. The period of lactation. Children under 4 years of age (in this dosage form).

Main physicochemical properties
Tablets, coated, white or almost white, the upper and lower surfaces are convex. At the break when viewed under a microscope can see a core surrounded by one continuous layer.
